Kalahandi, 9/6: In a major development, Dhiman Chakma (36), an IAS officer has been caught red handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10 lakh from a businessman in Odisha’s Kalahandi district.
The Odisha Vigilance Directorate said that Chakma was posted as a sub-collector in Kalahandi district’s Dharamgarh. The officials revealed that he allegedly took Rs 10 lakh as the first instalment of a total Rs 20 lakh bribe that he had demanded from a local businessman.
