New Delhi: Covid cases in India is on the rise with each passing day. Covid infection is increasing with each passing day in the country. Active cases have reached 7121. According to the information of the Union Health Ministry, the number of Covid infected people has reached 7121 till today. 306 new cases have been identified in the last 24 hours. Six deaths have been reported today. The highest number of infections has been identified in Kerala. There are 2223 Covid positive cases in Kerala. Similarly, 1223 in Gujarat, 757 in Delhi, 615 in Maharashtra, 204 in Tamil Nadu, 747 in West Bengal, 44 in Chhattisgarh and 72 in Andhra Pradesh, 138 in Rajasthan, 459 in Karnataka, 229 in Uttar Pradesh. Three deaths have been recorded in Kerala, Maharashtra (1) and Karnataka (2) are the only states that have reported the remaining deaths. No cases have been reported in Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram so far. The central government has advised people to be cautious about corona. If any symptoms appear, they have been asked to get tested immediately. The biggest problem with the JN.1 variant is that it spreads very quickly between people. It has an additional mutation that helps it enter cells and weaken the immune system. Many doctors have said that the JN.1 variant is not so dangerous and people do not need to panic.
