Guwahati, 14/6: In a major success towards disarmament, security forces in strife-torn Manipur recovered 328 sophisticated weapons in five valley districts during operations on Friday and Saturday.
The seized weapons included 151 SLR rifles, 65 INSAS rifles, six AK series rifles, 73 other rifles, one mortar and five carbines. Large quantities of ammunition and other equipment were also recovered.
