Paradip: In an unfortunate incident, a youth committed suicide reportedly when he was playing online game at Santara village under Kujang police station limits of Jagatsinghapur district today.
The youth, identified as Durgadatta Parida, was often playing online game. Today too, some people found him playing the online game inside an under construction house. Later, they found his body in a hanging state and informed to his family members.
Soon, a team of police from the Kujang police station reached the village after getting information about the youth’s suicide from his family members and seized the body for postmortem. However, they are yet to ascertain what promoted Parida to end his life.
Meanwhile, it is suspected that the exact cause of Parida’s death (suicide) can be known after completion of the autopsy, said sources adding that police are interrogating his family members to get some lead in the case.
