Puri: The preparations for world famous Rath Yatra is going on in full swing. A special Rath Yatra preparedness meeting has begun today at the Town Hall in Puri. CM Mohan Majhi will host the meeting. SJTA Chief Administrator Arabinda Padhee informed that discussions on the Rath construction and the Niti Kanti of Sevayats has been discussed. As many as 265, AI cameras will be installed. For the flawless and smooth organisation of rath Yatra the Odisha Police is at its heels. Twenty six (26) parking areas have been designated for the parking of vehicles. A quick reaction team and an anti-terrorist squad team will also be deployed informed YB Khurania. All the important events like Rath construction, Niti Kanti and all rituals and the crowd management will also be discussed. Disciplined darshan of devotees, sanitary arrangements, traffic supervision will also be dealt with. Chief Secretary, Ministers of several departments, MLAs, Deputy CM, Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration (SJTA), Puri Collector, SP and other officials will attend the meeting. Coast guards will be deployed to prevent mishaps in the Puri beach. Special attention will be laid over stampede and crowd management. AI Cameras and unauthorised drones have been barred in the area and a strict no flying zone has been announced.
