Hirakud:(Correspondent) :- Hindalco organized a massive health camp at Shiva Local Government Higher Primary School, Gadmund. Hirakud Hindalco Unit Head Shri Debashish Mallick has been advised to provide health care facilities to the area. The camp was attended by Hindalco Unit Head Shri Debashish Mallick, Hindalco Complex Human Resources Head Shri Biswas Shinde, Smelter Plant Head Shri Pratap Sahu, Power Plant Head Arun Kumar Singh, Environment Department Head Shri Ranjan Kumar Jena, Government Higher Primary School, Gadmund. Principal Mrs. Ruplekha Nanda, Head of Peripheral Development Department Mr. Sukant Kumar Mahapatra, Head of Land and Corporate Affairs Mr. Vigneshwar Panda formally inaugurated the camp by offering prayers to Maa Samaleswari and lighting the lamp. Unit Head Mr. Debashish Mallick said that Hindalco is working for the development of education, health, sports, women, youth and culture in the Hirakud region and will continue to do so. In this program, Smelter Plant Head Mr. Pratap Sahu expressed his wish that the public present would take advantage of this health camp. Head of Human Resources of Hindalco Complex Mr. Biswas Shinde expressed his wish that such development programs will be further accelerated in the area. Head of Power Plant Arun Kumar Singh expressed his wish that Hindalco is trying for the development of the Hirakud region. In this program, the local dignitaries Shri Padman Pruseth, Shri Devendra Pradhan, Shri Sudarshan Khamari, President of Gadmunda School Management Committee Shri Madan Mohan Pruseth, senior citizens Shri Yogeswar Pradhan, Shri Lokanath Mirig, Smt. Shantilata Suna appreciated this great program of Hindalco and expressed their heartfelt gratitude. In this camp, 345 people received health check-up and necessary medicines.
This program was organized under the leadership of Dr. Praveen Yadav of Hindalco Health Services Department, Dr. Trilochan Barik, Dr. Padmalaya Mishra, Dr. Puja Srivastava, Dr. Chandan Marandi, Dr. Rajesh Mishra, and Dr. Vishwanath Mishra. An experienced medical team treated various diseases and distributed necessary medicines to the patients. CSR Department Manager Mr. Anand Chakraborty, Mrs. Jayashree Rao, Saroj Kumar Acharya, Santosh Tripathi, Milan Kumar Sahu, Hindalco Health Department staff and school teachers along with school committee members and members helped in organizing the camp.
