Sambalpur : Hirakud:(Correspondent) :-Keeping in view the need for restoration of Hirakud College classroom, Hindalco Environmental Development Department has restored the classroom and made it useful for the students to sit and study there safely. It was dedicated to the public in the presence of Hindalco Group Environmental Development Department Head Shri Abhijit, Human Resources Head Odisha Cluster and Minerals Dr. Krishna Padhi, Hindalco Unit Head Shri Debashish Mallick, Hirakud Complex Human Resources Head Shri Biswas Shinde, Odisha Cluster Environmental Development Department Head Shri Shiv Mohapatra. Hindalco CSR Department Head Sukant Kumar Mahapatra, Manager Anand Chakravarthy, Jayashree Rao, Saroj Kumar Acharya, Milan Kumar Sahu and Santosh Tripathi were present in this program. The faculty members of the college were present in this program. And the students of the college were addressed on this occasion by the Head of Human Resources, Odisha Cluster and Minerals, Dr. Krishna Padhi, who said that Hindalco has always been working for the overall development of the Hirakud region, especially in the field of education, and expressed the view that the efforts to create an educational environment will continue in the coming days as well. In this regard, he supervised the work of the e-bookstore being created by Hindalco for the students of the college and advised them to complete the work as soon as possible and use it for the benefit of the children.
The program was attended by the College Chairperson Smt. Sumitra Panda, the faculty members of the college. And many students of the college were present. Hindalco appreciated this great initiative and expressed his sincere gratitude to Hindalco for the many developmental activities being undertaken by Hindalco in his college.
