Puri: The Adapa Mandap Bije rituals, one of the rituals of the ongoing world famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings completed peacefully in Puri this evening on Sunday. As per the rituals, the servitors escorted the Holy Trinity were to the ‘Adapa Mandap’ of the Gundicha Temple this evening in the presence of lakhs of devotees. The deities were taken to the ‘Adapa Mandap’ one after the other in the ceremonial ‘Pahandi Bije’ procession from their respective chariots. With this, the devotees will now be able to have the deities’ darshan at the ‘Adapa Mandap’ from today . In view of the tragic stampede incident that killed three devotees and left a dozen others injured in the wee hours today, the security was enhanced to ensure peaceful Adapa Mandap Bije rituals.
