Japan airlines plane drops by 26,000 feet, terrified passengers pen farewell notes

In yet another scare relating to a flight, a Japan airlines Boeing 737 reportedly suffered a mid-air technical snag and dropped altitude by 36,000 feet said reports.The Japan Airlines plane rapidly descended from 36,000 feet to just under 10,500 feet, terrifying passengers to no end. The passengers were so terrified that they penned farewell noted for their near and dear ones.It is worth mentioning that, the flight took off from Shanghai Pudong Airport in China for Tokyo Narita Airport. There were as many as 191 people onboard the carrier. The plane was a Boeing 737 and was being flown as a low cost carrier by Spring Japan.Reports said that, there was a mid air technical glitch in the aircraft and the plane lost height suddenly and dropped by almost 26,000 feet. This led to dropping down of oxygen masks and major panic inside the flight.The passengers were shaken post the incident, reports further added. This comes just a month after the massive flight crash that took place in Ahmedabad of Gujarat. On June 12, a London-bound Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed into a hostel complex of BJ Medical College in the Meghani Nagar area of Gujarat’s Ahmedabad shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.The tragedy claimed 241 lives out of 242 onboard, including former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
