SUBARNAPUR, 2/7 — Tarbha police of Subarnapur district have seized a vehicle with 6 quintals of ganja. It is learnt from the incident that the vehicle was being smuggled from Kantamal area of Boudh district to other states through Tarbha, and on receiving information, the Tarbha police chased the vehicle carrying the ganja. As a result, the driver of the Bolero Max (OD-31 G 2843 Fake number) pickup truck carrying the ganja abandoned the vehicle near the Tarbha border and fled. After checking the said vehicle, 6 quintals of 15 kg of ganja came out of the vehicle. The police seized the vehicle with the ganja and weighed it in the presence of a magistrate. It is learnt that the Tarbha police have registered a case in this regard and are continuing the investigation into the incident.
