Cold Wave intensifies in Odisha, Mercury drops to 4 degree celsius at Phulbani

Bhubaneswar,21/12: Cold wave condition grips many parts of Odisha as the mercury drops below 10-degree Celcius at 10 places in the state.

According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, Phulbani was the coldest place with a minimum temperature of 4 degree Celsius, followed by Jharsuguda (5.8), Daringbadi (6), Angul (6.6), Koraput (7), Bhawanipatna (7.8), Balangir (8.8), Boudh (9), Keonjhar (9.3), and Sonepur (9.4).

Regional Meteorological Centre issued Orange Warning for Mayurbhanj, Angul, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh and Bargarh districts.

Similarly, For Koraput, Kandhamal, Balasore, Keonjhar, Boudh, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Dhenkanal and Deogarh, it added and issued Yellow Warning for the districts.
