JD(U) demands ‘proportionate representation’ in Modi Cabinet

Patna, 28/12 (AO Bureau): With the formation of a new government in Bihar, the attitude of the JDU is also changing. On Sunday, where the party’s Rajya Sabha MP RCP Singh (RCP Singh) was handed over the command of the National President, the party has also demanded its stake in the Modi government of the Center. Senior party leader and Principal General Secretary KC Tyagi said in Patna on Sunday that we want proper representation in proportion to the number in the Union Council of Ministers.

JDU leader KC Tyagi also cleared the party’s separate stand on other issues including love jihad. KC Tyagi said that efforts are being made to create an atmosphere of hatred across the country regarding the issue of Love Jihad. On the issue of 6 party MLAs joining BJP in Arunachal Pradesh, he said that the case of Arunachal Pradesh is not good for coalition politics. All the constituent parties should follow the Atal religion of Atal Bihari.

Tyagi said that instead of inducting JDU MLAs in the Council of Ministers, JDU has been included in the party, whereas JDU has never done so in Bihar. The party is hurt by the incident in Arunachal Pradesh. Referring to Nitish Kumar, KC Tyagi said that he is a leader of credit, not of strength. Nitish Kumar’s leadership and aura should not be evaluated on the basis of numbers. Nitish Kumar will also work for the party in other states.
