Gujrat, 30/12 (AO Bureau) BJP MP from Gujarat and former Union Minister Mansukh Vasava has said that if he resigned from the party, he could not get the facility of free treatment. Actually, Vasava resigned from BJP on Tuesday. But on the persuasion of senior party leaders, he has withdrawn his resignation.
What did Vasava say after meeting the Chief Minister?
After meeting Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Vasava told reporters, ‘Senior party leaders explained to me that I will get free treatment for my back and neck problem only when I remain an MP. If I resign, it will not be possible. The party leaders advised me to rest and said that such a system will be made so that the local leaders will continue to see the work on my behalf.
Resigned only for health reasons
He said, ‘Health problem was the only reason behind my resignation from the party. Now, after getting assurances from senior leaders, I am withdrawing my resignation. I will continue to serve the people as an MP.
