Rajkot, 1/1 (AO Bureau):Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday laid the foundation stone of 1,144 houses for the EWS category people to be built in Rajkot under the Central ‘Light House Project’ (LHP-LHP). Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was present in Rajkot as the chief guest of the program.
Under the LHP project, the central government will build more than 1,000-1000 houses in six cities – Indore, Chennai, Ranchi, Agartala, Lucknow, and Rajkot.
According to the information given by the government, houses are being constructed for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) under the LHP project to provide shelter to the urban poor using green construction techniques.
