New Delhi, 13/1 (AO Bureau): After facing severe backlash over its new privacy policy, WhatsApp which is owned by Facebook released a statement which states the recent update won’t affect privacy. The Facebook-owned company said privacy will continue to remain encrypted end-to-end.
WhatsApp firm tweeted ” We want to address some rumors and be 100 percent clear we continue to protect your private data with end-to-end protection. Our privacy policy updates don’t affect the privacy of your friends and family.
Whatsapp added that this update includes changes related to messaging a business on WhatsApp which is optional and it also provides further transparency on how it collects data.
