WhatsApp delays implementation of its new Privacy policy

New Delhi, 16/1 (AO bureau): After facing severe backlash from the users of the messaging application, Whatsapp has delayed the implementation of its new privacy policy.

Whatsapp confirmed the news in a series of tweets on Saturday. It pushed the rollout of the new privacy policy from February 8, to May.

“Thank you to everyone who’s reached out. We’re still working to counter any confusion by communicating directly with WhatsApp users,” Tweeted the company.

“No one will have their account suspended or deleted on February 8, and we’ll be moving back our business plans until after May,” it added.
