Budget 2021: Finance Minister Sitharaman announces PM Atmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojna

New Delhi, 1/2 (AO Bureau): Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union budget for the economic year 2021-2022.  Sitharaman announced the PM Atmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana with a corpus of Rs 64,000 crore. Two more Covid Vaccines are expected soon in the country.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that Corona has had an impact on the world and India has taken big steps to deal with this epidemic. Shee said that Rs 35,000 crore has been kept in this budget for corona vaccination.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the government has increased the budget for the health and healthcare sector from Rs 94 thousand crores to Rs 2.38 lakh crore and through this, all the people of the country will be given the best health facilities.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that we have provided protection against Covid to the people of 100 or more countries, the PM launched this vaccination campaign giving credit to the scientists. Apart from this, he said that the government spent Rs 4.21 lakh crore in the financial year 2020-21. In this financial year 2021-22, the government has targeted to spend Rs 4.39 lakh crore. This time the budget of the health sector has been increased from 94 thousand crores to 2.38 lakh crore.
