The government has made it clear that if the cases in the state continue to increase, then a 12-hour night curfew can be imposed. This information was given by Minister Vijay Wadettiwar on Saturday. He told that during this curfew, crowded places like the wedding hall, market, cinema hall will be completely closed. The government is considering restrictions from 5 pm to 5 am.
The Covid situation has deteriorated in Maharashtra. A meeting with state Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray (Uddhav Thackeray) is to be held next week regarding the night curfew. After this, the government can make a big decision on this curfew. Apart from restrictions, the government has also decided to take strict action this time on fines. If a wedding hall allows more than 50 people to gather in violation of Kovid rules, then a fine of Rs 1 lakh will be imposed on it.
In a conversation with the English newspaper Times of India, he said, ‘Matters are increasing in the entire Vidarbha region. In Nagpur too, more than 750 cases were registered on Friday. He said that the government has already announced partial lockdowns in Amravati, Wardha, and Yavatmal. Vadettivar said, “If new cases increase, the government can take steps like the Night Curfew. We will ask the district administration, including the Collector and Municipal Commissioner, to take a final decision on the lockdown in view of the situation in their areas.
