Opposition uproar again on petrol and diesel prices, Rajya Sabha adjourned till 1 pm

New Delhi,  8/3 (AO Bureau): The second phase of the budget session of Parliament has started today. Malikarjun Kharge once again raised the issue of diesel and petrol prices after the commencement of the proceedings of the Upper House, ie Rajya Sabha at 11 am. Mallikarjun Kharge said that if we stay for a few more days for discussion, what will be the condition of the public. This issue should be discussed today. The opposition once again created a ruckus on this issue, after which the Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 1 pm.

Today, even in Parliament, women MPs raised their voice for the rights of women. Reservation was demanded for women. In the proceedings of the House, women were first given the opportunity to speak. BJP MP Saroj Pandey said that women have become empowered under Modi’s rule. Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi demanded 50 percent reservation for women. Congress MP Chhay Verma said that Rajiv Gandhi did a lot of work for women during the Congress rule.

Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha Secretariat has arranged for the vaccination of MPs inside the Parliament complex. He said that after the vaccination campaign, the two houses can meet together from 11 am. Currently, due to Covid-19 Pandemic, the Parliament meets in two sessions – the Rajya Sabha meets in the morning and the Lok Sabha meets in the evening.
