Mystery spinner Varun Chakraborty has failed to pass the fitness test for the second time in a row and he is now out of the series. On the other hand, Yorker expert T Natarajan is undergoing rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy and his playing in the opening matches is doubtful. Earlier, Chakraborty was selected in Team India for the T20 series against Australia but due to injury, he was dropped from the team. Varun Chakraborty had done well for Kolkata Knight Riders in the previous season, after which he got a place in Team India. After the injury, Varun Chakraborty was placed in the National Cricket Academy. However, he failed to pass the Yo-Yo test here.
Rahul Chahar can get a place
According to media reports, Rahul Chahar may get a chance in the Indian T20 team.
