Bhubaneswar, 14/3 (AO Bureau): Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today delivered a video message to the people of the state about the Coronavirus situation in Odisha. Zero infection should be our goal. Lockdown will not happen again if the public is careful. The state is in a better position than any other state. Currently, the number of daily infections is below 100. With the sacrifice and cooperation of the people of the state, Karona has returned to normal. In his address, the World Health Organization praised Odisha’s move towards Karona.
The chief minister said the economy, social life, and children’s education were affected by the crisis. The hardships of lockdown time are still in our memory. The situation in some states, such as Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, has deteriorated. Lockdown has once again returned to parts of Maharashtra. The danger is still there, so complacency is not the answer. In addition, the Chief Minister urged the people of the state to wash their hands, maintain social distance and wear masks.
