New cases of coronavirus infection are continuously coming up in Maharashtra and Punjab. Due to this, the Maharashtra government has imposed a night curfew in many districts and lockdown in Nagpur. Punjab is also in the same situation. Now as a precaution, the Gujarat government (Gujarat) has also imposed a night curfew in four major cities. Only essential services will be operational during the night curfew.
Night curfew has been imposed by the Gujarat government from 17 March to 31 March in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara, and Surat. At the same time, the state government says that the pre-night curfew was kept from 12 noon (Monday late night) to 6 o’clock on Tuesday, March 16. After this, from 17 March, the time of night curfew will be from 10 am to 6 am. The government has taken this step in the last few days in view of the increasing cases of corona infection in Gujarat.
On Monday, 890 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Gujarat on Monday. After this, the total number of corona infected in the state has increased to 2,79,097. In the state, 594 people were cured of the corona virus. On Monday, 262 new cases were reported in Surat, 209 in Ahmedabad, 97 in Vadodara, and 95 in Rajkot
