New Delhi, 16/3 (AO Bureau) : There has been a ruckus in four countries of Europe over the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. France, Spain, Italy, and Germany have currently banned its use. They say that people are complaining of blood clotting using the vaccine. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has appealed to these countries not to stop the use of the vaccine. According to the WHO, this vaccine is completely safe.
WHO spokesperson Christian Lindimaire says his team is investigating complaints about the vaccine. At the same time, he also said that no evidence has been found by Philas to say that the AstraZeneca vaccine of Oxford is not safe. Meanwhile, Britain has also said that there have been no complaints of blood clotting from the vaccine. The WHO will also meet on Tuesday regarding the vaccine.
40 cases of blood clotting
Please tell that after taking the vaccine in Europe for several decades, there have been reports of blood clotting. But experts say that at the moment the vaccine should not be associated with blood clotting. Till now about 17 lakh people have been given vaccine doses in the European Union country and Britain. Out of these, only 40 such cases have come where people have complained about blood clotting.
