New Delhi, 24/3 (AO Bureau): Coronavirus continues to be a worrying situation in the country. In most cities, infection cases are increasing rapidly. In this case, an appeal is also being made to be very cautious about the upcoming festivals. In view of this, some states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh have been imposed some restrictions on Holi celebrations (Holi 2021). Its purpose is to stop the spread of coronavirus infection.
Delhi government issued guidelines
The Delhi government said that public events will not be held on other festivals including Holi, Navratri, Shab-e-Baaraat to be held in the capital. The state government has banned it due to the situation in Corona. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority has decided to take strict action against the crowd gathering during this period. Under the new guidelines, a public ban on any public place, park, market or religious place is prohibited. Along with this, strictness will also be increased on trains, buses and airports. In states where more corona cases are coming out, it will be mandatory to provide Kovid test to the people coming to Delhi. If found corona positive, there is a provision to quarantine them.
Uttar Pradesh government said this
In view of the Corona crisis in the state, the Yogi government has issued some guidelines regarding Holi. The UP government has advised senior citizens in the state and those with potential danger from Corona not to celebrate Holi. If anyone wants to organize a ceremony on Holi, then they must first get the permission of the administration. There will be a Kovid test of people coming to Uttar Pradesh from the states with more Corona cases. Also, Holi holiday has been declared in schools from March 24 to March 31 to the eighth.
