UP, 25/3 (AO Bureau):Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath targeted his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee, alleging that she had no interest in the development of the state and only wanted to encourage goons and extortionists. He said that the countdown to the end of Trinamool rule has started in West Bengal and BJP will form the government in the state after 35 days to usher in a new era of development and progress.
Addressing a rally at the Sagar assembly constituency in the South 24 Parganas district, Yogi said, “At one time West Bengal was a modern and progressive state, but Congress, Left parties and then Trinamool Congress blocked the industrial development of the state and Corruption began to flourish. ”He alleged that the Trinamool grabbed the relief amount given by the Center to deal with the cyclone Amphan. He said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given a thousand crores rupees to the state to deal with the cyclone ‘Amfan’ but the money could not reach the public and the Trinamool leaders grabbed it.”
TMC is not worried about the development of Bengal- Yogi
Yogi said that if the people of his state can get the benefits of schemes like PM Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and Kisan Samman Nidhi, then why are the people of West Bengal deprived of their benefits? He said, “It shows that the Trinamool Congress has no concern for the development of West Bengal.”
CM Yogi said that the people of the state will benefit from the same party being in power in West Bengal and at the Center. Elections will be held in eight phases between March 27 to April 29 for the 294-member assembly of West Bengal. The counting of votes will be done on May 2.
