Kolkatta, 13/4 (Ao Bureau): Incidents of violence and rhetoric are coming to light during elections in West Bengal. Meanwhile, the Election Commission had banned the campaigning of TMC chief and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for 24 hours on Monday. Now the Election Commission has taken similar action against BJP leader Rahul Sinha. The Election Commission has banned him from campaigning for 48 hours. He is accused of making objectionable statements in relation to armed forces. Now Rahul Sinha will not be able to campaign for the next 48 hours.
Along with this, the Election Commission has issued a warning to BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari and also notice to Dilip Ghosh. Shubhendu Adhikari is accused of giving objectionable speech on 29 March. He sent a reply in this regard to the Election Commission on 9 April.
