Corona Infection : Situation Grim In Delhi

New Delhi, 18/4 (AO Bureau): Corona infection is becoming increasingly serious in the capital. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal (CM Arvind Kejriwal) has expressed concern over the situation saying that in the last 24 hours, there have been around 25 and a half thousand cases of coronavirus. Has been 30 percent. Matters are increasing very rapidly. With the increase in the number of patients, there is also a shortage of oxygen. Not only this, there are less than 100 beds left in hospitals in Delhi. Regarding this, CM Kejriwal has demanded an oxygen supply from the central government. Also said that more than 75 percent of the beds in Delhi’s hospitals should be reserved for corona patients.

With this, CM Kejriwal said that I had a talk with Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister yesterday. I told them that we are in great need of beds and oxygen. Today I have talked to Home Minister Amit Shah and I also told him that beds are very much needed. There are 10,000 beds in central government hospitals in Delhi, out of which 1800 beds are reserved for Corona.

Apart from this, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has also appealed to the Central Government regarding Oxygen and Beds. He said, ‘Our request to the Central Government is that in such a critical situation at least 7,000 beds should be reserved for Corona and we should be supplied oxygen immediately. The Delhi government will prepare more than 6,000 oxygen beds in the next 2-3 days.
Earlier, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Sunday that there is a shortage of medical oxygen in Delhi and the state government has requested the Center to immediately increase the supply of oxygen here. Sisodia, the nodal minister for Kovid-19 management in Delhi, tweeted, “Due to higher consumption than usual, the supply of oxygen allocated to Delhi is falling drastically.”

Apart from this, he further tweeted, ‘Information is being received from some hospitals that they have oxygen stock left for a very limited time. The Delhi government has asked the Indian government to immediately increase the oxygen quota for Delhi. ‘
