Lockdown announced in Kerala

Thiruvantpuram, 6/5(AO Bureau)The Kerala (Kerala) government has announced a lockdown from 8 May to 16 May to manage and control the situation amid growing cases of Corona virus infection. The official Twitter account of the CM of Kerala was told – β€˜In view of the second wave of corona virus as directed by the CM, there will be a lockdown in the entire state of Kerala from 6 am on May 8 to May 16.’

As the day-to-day increase in cases of Kovid-19 in Kerala, the state government has decided to strengthen measures against Corona virus infection by deploying students studying medical and government officials to deal with the ground situation. On Wednesday, 41,953 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Kerala, which is the highest in a day. Describing the situation as serious, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that more stringent steps will be taken to prevent infection.
