New Delhi,8/5 : The Indian fast bowler, who played for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, has been found to be the famous Krishna Corona positive. Krishna has been linked as a stand-by player with the Indian team for the World Test Championship and the five-Test series against England a day earlier. A 20-member Indian team led by coach Ravi Shastri will gather in Mumbai on May 25 and will be in the bio-bubble prepared here for 8 days. During this time, corona test of all the members will be done two to three times. The team will leave for England on June 2 and after reaching there will be a 10-day quarantine. After this, on June 18, they will play the final of the World Test Championship against New Zealand in Southampton. Krishna will have to be negative in the Corona Test before May 25, only then he will be able to enter the bio-bubble with the Indian team.

New Zealand wicket-keeper batsman Tim Siefert could not return home from his chartered flight due to being Corona positive. He will live in segregation in Ahmedabad and then undergo treatment in a private hospital in Chennai. Both RTPCR positives came before SIFERT’s departure. New Zealand Cricket Chief Executive David White said that seven Tests had come in the last ten days of Seafert. He expressed confidence that his team would take full care of him.
