Assam, 10/5 (AO Bureau);BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma was sworn in as the 15th Chief Minister of Assam. NDA Coordinator Himanta Biswa Sarma took the oath of office of the Chief Minister of Assam at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra on Monday. At 12 o’clock in the day, Governor Jagdish Mukhi administered oath to Sarma as Chief Minister. Along with Sarma, 13 of his cabinet ministers were also sworn in.
Among his colleagues with Sarma were Atul Bora, Parimal Shukla Baidya, Pijush Hazarika, Jogan Mohan, Sanjay Kishan, Chandra Mohan Patowary, Bimal Bora, Ashok Singhal, UG Brahma, Ranjit Das, Ronuj Pegu, Keshab Mahant and Ajanta Neg.
BJP Chief JP Nadda, Tripura CM Biplab Deb, Meghalaya CM Konrad Sangma, Manipur CM N Biren Singh, and Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio, former CM Sarbananda Sonowal also attended the swearing-in ceremony of Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and his cabinet Were present.
