Former Indian all-rounder Rajendrasinh Jadeja has lost the battle of life from Corona. Indian cricket world is shocked by his death. Former Saurashtra fast bowler and Cricket Board of India (BCCI) referee Rajendra Singh Jadeja died due to Covid-19 infection. The Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) gave this information on Sunday. Jadeja was 66 years old.
The SCA said in a statement that everyone in SCA is saddened by the untimely demise of Rajendra Singh Jadeja, who was one of the most illustrious cricketers of Saurashtra’s past. He died in the early hours of Sunday while fighting a battle against Kovid-19. Jadeja was a good all-rounder besides being a right-arm fast bowler. He took 134 and 14 wickets in 50 First Class and 11 List A matches respectively. He also scored 1536 and 104 runs respectively in both these formats.
Jadeja has also been a selector, coach and manager of Saurashtra
Jadeja was also the official referee of the BCCI in 53 first class, 18 List A and 34 T20 matches. He was also the selector, coach and team manager of Saurashtra Cricket Association.
