New Delhi, 21/5 (AO Bureau)The Government of India has strongly objected to writing ‘Manipulated Media’ on the tweet made by Indian leaders in the context of ‘toolkit’ designed to undermine the government’s efforts against Corona in the country. The Ministry of Information and Technology of the Government of India has approached the Global Team of Twitter about this and registered a protest.
In this regard, the Government of India says that a party has already approached the local police about this and questioned the veracity of the ‘toolkit’. The investigating agency will investigate this. But before that, Twitter has declared him as Manipulated media. This is an attempt to influence the functioning and investigation of the local investigative agency.
Twitter’s move raises questions about its claim to be an impartial platform. The government has asked Twitter to remove the Manipulated media from the recent tweet in view of the veracity and equality of the matter. In this case, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra recently tweeted a tweet. In which he made a sharp attack on the Congress, referring to an alleged ‘toolkit’. He alleged that the research cell of the Congress had prepared this ‘toolkit’ and sent it to its workers and supporters. In which a conspiracy was hatched to discredit PM Modi and the central government in the case of Corona.
BJP had alleged that such schemes were made in this ‘toolkit’ to defame the central government by wrongly raising all the issues. After this tweet by Sambit Patra, BJP President JP Nadda, along with many other leaders of the party, also targeted the Congress by tweeting about it.
However, later the Congress termed this ‘toolkit’ as fake and called it a BJP conspiracy. The party had also complained to the Delhi Police in this regard and Twitter had also tagged Manipulated media on the related Patra’s tweet later. To which the Government of India has raised a strong objection
