CBSE 12th examination date decision on June 1

New Delhi, 27/5 (AO Bureau):There may be a big announcement on the CBSE 12th board exam on June 1. According to sources, the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank Board can declare the exam date. Apart from this, the final decision is also likely to be on the format of the board examination and the way of conducting it. If sources are to be believed, in the Kovid protocol last year, like the examination was held in July, this time is also likely to be in July. According to sources, CBSE has proposed to conduct the exam between 15 July to 26 August and declare the result in September.

Here, 32 states / union territories have agreed to conduct 12th board examination after a high-level meeting with Union ministers. But four states – Delhi, Maharashtra, Goa and Andaman and Nicobar Examinations – have demanded vaccination of students and teachers before conducting the examination. According to the media report, most of the states have agreed on the short format exam. Under this, the examination will be of 90 minutes. Out of the 32 states that have agreed for the exam, 29 states have given their consent to the short format exam or they have put the ball in the court of the central government. The decision will be taken by the central government. Only Rajasthan, Tripura and Telangana want the three-hour examination in the current format.

CBSE has given two options

Please tell that CBSE had proposed two options to the Ministry of Education to conduct board exams. Under the first option, only 19 important subjects of students are to be tested. In which the examination format and exam center will remain the same. In the second option, the exam will be of only 90 minutes. Students will be able to take the exam at their own school i.e. home center.
