Zomato’s new campaign, all food delivery vehicles will be electric by 2030, know about it ..

Mumbai, 5/6 (AO Bureau): Online food delivery company Zomato will convert all its food delivery vehicles to electric vehicles by 2030. That is, before 2030, all vehicles used for food delivery and other purposes in the company will be electric (EVs). The company’s co-founder Deepinder Goyal said that the company is already using EVs in cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

In a blog post, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal said that the company will join the EV100 Global Initiative, a campaign to encourage companies globally to switch all their fleets to electric vehicles. He said that under this campaign 100% of our fleet will be fully electric by 2030.

Deepender Goyal said that we have many partners to source EVs. Walmart-owned e-commerce company Flipkart is also part of the EV100 Global Initiative. Flipkart has also talked about converting all its vehicles to electric by the year 2030.

 

Zomato said that it is in talks with several players in the EV sector to create a business model for pilot design. Which makes it possible to have very fast electric mobility for food delivery. Let us tell you that Zomato will launch its IPO this year. For this the company has applied to SEBI.
