J&K, 20/6 (AO Bureau): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold talks on ‘statehood’ during talks with the regional parties of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Earlier, two important meetings on Jammu and Kashmir were also held in Delhi on Friday. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval was working for several months on the strategy to give statehood to Jammu and Kashmir again. News18 has got this information through official sources.
Sources with knowledge of the matter say that the state status can be given to Jammu and Kashmir soon. In the past, a promise was also made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah regarding this. However, there will be no talks about the special status of the region.
