Bhubaneswar, 20/6 (AO Bureau): Odisha Chief Minister  Naveen Patnaik launched a new scheme to support and care for the education of children who have lost both their parents, parents or the main beneficiaries of their families. Announced the blessing.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to providing a safe environment for the overall development of these children who need special care of the society.

“Children in need of special care under the Ashirwad scheme will be in the company of their families and relatives and their caregivers will be encouraged to take good care of them,” he said.

According to the blessings plan, Rs 2,500 a month will be deposited electronically per month for the child’s education, and health care in the bank account of the relative who has lost both parents and is responsible for the children in distress. This support will continue until the child is 18 years old. Prior to that, the child would no longer be assisted if he or she was adopted.

These children can get free medical benefits under the state government’s health insurance scheme Biju Health Welfare Scheme.

Children who need this special care will be included in the National or State Food Security Scheme.

The district attorney’s office said in a statement that the district attorney’s office would provide for the child’s education.

For higher education, children will be supported under the state government’s Green Pass scheme.

If the incumbent is eligible for the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme or Biju Pakka House, he will be sanctioned the house out of turn for the welfare of the child.

If the child’s caregiver is eligible for any other government scheme, he or she will be provided with an out-of-turn benefit.
The Child Welfare Committee will take necessary steps in coordination with the District Child Protection Unit, the Tahsildar and the police to protect the property of the child.

The District Child Protection Unit will be in regular contact with the child’s relatives to monitor the child’s good and bad.

The Biju Child Protection Scheme and the Juvenile Justice Fund can help these children where needed.

If the above two categories of children live in a child care institution without a relative, the child will be deposited in the child’s bank account as a recurring deposit of Rs 1,000 per month until the child reaches the age of eighteen months. The child will be provided with free care and other responsibilities.

The child’s education will be based on health and safety.

In the case of the death of the child’s adoptive parent and the surviving parent, the child must be eighteen years of age. Fifteen hundred rupees a month will be deposited in the bank account of the surviving parent or child for his or her maintenance.
If a child is adopted, he or she will no longer be supported.

If the child’s mother is eligible for a pension, she will be entitled to a widow’s allowance. Both will also benefit from a national or state food security plan.
In addition, all of the above benefits will be available to the child, such as free student health insurance.

District child protection unit, childline and panchayat level committee block committee will identify children through frontline worker civil society and prepare the list.

Eligible children or relatives in charge of the plan can also apply to the DCPU with a death certificate.
The Chief Minister has directed the district magistrates to ensure that every helpless child who has lost his or her parents prematurely is not excluded from the scheme.
