Shiv Sena to join hands with BJP!

Mumbai, 22/6: Not giving much importance to the letter of its MLA Pratap Sarnaik related to joining hands with BJP, Shiv Sena has written in its mouthpiece Saamana that, ‘Those who have seen signs of change in the power structure of Maharashtra’ They are giving raw lemon in politics. In a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Pratap Sarnayak had said that the Shiv Sena should join hands with its former ally in view of the upcoming municipal elections like Mumbai and Thane before it is too late.

Sarnayak, MLA from Thane’s Ovala-Majiwadi assembly constituency, had said in his letter that BJP and Shiv Sena are no longer allies, but leaders of both the parties have good relations and we should use it in our interest. Sarnayak’s statement came after the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uddhav Thackeray. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had personally met the Prime Minister at his official residence during his Delhi visit. Hindustan Times quoted a Shiv Sena leader as saying that the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uddhav Thackeray lasted for about half an hour. In this meeting, Uddhav Thackeray talked with the PM on political topics. Apart from this, Thackeray also sought the intervention of the PM on the issue of nomination of 12 members for the Legislative Council. The approval of Governor BS Koshyari is awaited on this issue for the last 8 months.
