New Delhi, 4/7 (AO Bureau):The new season of the World Test Championship (WTC) is to start from August 4. Team India is ready under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. The team has to play a five-match series (India vs England) in England. However, even before the series, the team has suffered a major setback. Shubman Gill has been ruled out due to injury. The team management has demanded Prithvi Shaw in his place as an opener.
Prithvi Shaw is in good shape right now. He scored more than 800 runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and also made the team champion. After this he also performed brilliantly in IPL. He is currently included in the team that went on the tour of Sri Lanka. On the Sri Lanka tour, the team has to play a series of three ODIs and three T20 matches.
