J&K , 10/7 : Security forces on Saturday killed three terrorists in an encounter in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. The bodies of all the terrorists killed in the encounter have been recovered by the local police. In fact, the local police had received secret information that terrorists were hiding in a part of Anantnag. As soon as the information was received, the police along with the security forces cordoned off the area and launched the operation and killed the terrorists. The terrorists have been identified as local Lashkar terrorists.
After the operation was completed, Kashmir IG Vijay Kumar told that all the three terrorists were killed. All three were local Lashkar Taiba terrorists. On being challenged by the police, they started firing. Giving information, the local police officer said that during the operation, the terrorists were asked to surrender. But the terrorists started firing on the team. After which there was an encounter from both the sides and first two and then the third terrorist were also killed. Weapons have also been recovered from them.
