Gurgaon, 24/7 (AO Bureau): Amidst the Corona crisis, the Haryana Government has given a big gift to the employees of the state. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced to increase the rate of Dearness Allowance i.e. DA (Dearness Allowance) from 17 percent to 28 percent on the lines of the Central Government. The new rate will be applicable from July 1, 2021.
State government spokesperson said that the increased dearness allowance also includes the increase of DA pending on January 1, 2020, July 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021. This decision will benefit 2.85 lakh government employees and 2.62 lakh pensioners of the state. At the same time, this will put an additional burden of Rs 210 crore on the exchequer every month.

To know how much your salary will increase, you should check your basic salary. Also after this check your existing DA. At present it is 17 percent, which DA has now become 28 percent. Hence the monthly DA will increase by 11 per cent.
