Indian Men Hockey team creates history wins medal after 41 years

Tokyo, 5/8: Indian men’s hockey team has created history in Tokyo Olympics. The team defeated Germany 5-4 in the bronze medal match. Hockey team won medals after 1980. This is our 12th hockey medal in overall Olympic history. At one point in the match, the Indian team was behind 1-3. After this, the team made a great comeback and won the match. The women’s hockey team is also in the race for medals. He too has to play the bronze match on Friday.

 

Germany made a very aggressive start in the match. Germany’s Uruz scored in the second minute to give the team a 1-0 lead. By the first quarter, Germany’s team was ahead 1-0. Simranjit Singh scored in the 17th minute to level the score at 1-1.
