Bajrang Punia enters semifinal, keeps the medal hope alive

Tokyo, 6/8: Bajrang Punia has entered the semi-finals of the 65 kg weight category. India’s biggest hope at the Tokyo Olympics, Bajrang made it to the next round by directly hitting Morteza Cheka of Iran in the quarterfinals. Bajrang was trailing 0-1 in the first round. In the second round, Bajrang played such a bet that he directly reached the semi-finals. Bajrang is just one step away from the medal.

After this match, the gold hopes of the whole country have become stronger. He will now face Rio Olympic bronze medalist and three-time world champion Haji Alijeev in the semi-finals. Bajrang defeated Aliyev in the Pro Wrestling League two years ago.
