Tokyo, 9/8:Indian players will return to India on Monday evening after creating history in the Tokyo Olympics. His flight will land at Indira Gandhi International Airport around 5 pm. After this, the winning players will be honored by the Sports Authority of India (SAI). Earlier this ceremony was scheduled to be held at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium at 6.30 pm, but due to bad weather and rain, its venue was changed and now this program will be done in a hotel in Delhi.

Its decision was taken on Monday morning itself and now preparations are being done in this hotel itself. According to media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can join this ceremony through video conference. India won a total of 7 medals including one gold, two silver and 4 bronze in the Tokyo Olympics. This is India’s best performance in the Olympics so far. Earlier, India had the best performance in the 2012 London Olympics with 6 medals.
