Kabul, 27/8: Two fidayeen attacks took place on Thursday evening just in front of Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. So far 80 people have been killed in these attacks and more than 200 have been injured. According to the news agency Reuters, the Khorasan Group of the terrorist organization ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack. Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s self-declared caretaker President Amrullah Saleh has claimed that the Taliban have links with the Khorasan group. However, the Taliban has blamed the US for the attacks.
Saleh tweeted after the blasts, ‘The Taliban have learned a good lesson from their masters. The Taliban has rejected its relationship with ISIS. Just like he denied Pakistan’s link on Quetta Shura. Every evidence we have shows that the Khorasan group of ISIS has its roots in Taliban and Haqqani network….
