Welcoming the newly hired teachers, the Chief Minister said that it was his goal to provide quality education to gifted children from all parts of the state. To this end, the state is teaching English through secondary and higher secondary Odisha model schools. Talented students, especially in rural and semi-urban areas, are benefiting. He said he wanted model schools across the country to be a role model with significant success in quality education.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister paid tribute to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, former President of the country.

The Chief Minister said that these schools are being provided all kinds of facilities to succeed in various entrance examinations at the national level.

“Our goal is to build hope and confidence in the minds of the children and to overcome the obstacles in this competitive world,” he said. The Chief Minister advised the teachers to guide the children properly for future success.

“We will work hard to make every student’s dream come true and build strong and transformed Odisha,” he said.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik announced a ten-point target for Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya. The Chief Minister also emphasized the need to focus on the development of skills.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the teachers who won the 2021 National Teachers Award. They are – Ashok Kumar Tripathi, Assistant Teacher, Bhadrak District School, and Mr. Ajit Kumar Sethi, Headmaster, Chhatrapur UP School.

Minister Shri Sameer Das, Chairman of the Odisha Adarsh ​​Vidya Laya Sagatana, Shri Upendra Tripathi, in his keynote address, said that Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya has created opportunities for the development of children’s talents.

Chief Minister’s Secretary 5T Shri VK Pandian presided over the program. In consultation with the newly appointed Principals and Teachers, Mr. Pandian briefed them on the state government’s school transformation program and the role of education in the Chief Minister’s efforts to build a new Odisha.
