Chandigarh 18/9: After resigning from the post of Chief Minister of Punjab, Amarinder Singh has tightened his attitude towards Navjot Singh Sidhu. He clearly said that the Congress party should be made as the CM, but if Sidhu is made the face, then he will oppose it. Along with this, he targeted Punjab Congress President Sidhu, calling him a ‘friend’ of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Describing Navjot Singh Sidhu as a ‘denial’, he said, “He (Sidhu) did not clear his files for seven months. I will not support in any way. The Prime Minister of Pakistan is its friend. Its friendship with General Bajwa…Drones come from Pakistan every day, how many weapons have come, how many explosives have come, how many grenades have come, rifles, AK47, AK57 everything comes…”
Along with this, he said, “So far I have not talked to anyone. It is the work of the Congress party, the Chief Minister should make him, but if Sidhu is made a face, then I will oppose… Sidhu is with Bajwa, Sidhu is with Imran Khan. He (Navjot Singh Sidhu) was my minister and had to be fired. Didn’t clear my files for 7 months. Can a person like this who can’t handle a department, handle a state? Of course becoming the chief minister is its (Sidhu) goal.”
