PM Modi to strengthen relationship with America

New Delhi, 22/9: Before leaving for America, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that ‘this is an opportunity for America to strengthen ties with Japan, Australia.’ PM said that his visit to America between 22-25 September During the meeting, I will review the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership with President Joe Biden, as well as exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.’

He said, ‘I will attend the Quad Leaders Summit with President Biden, Australian PM Scott Morrison and Japanese PM Yoshihide Suga. This conference provides an opportunity to identify priorities for future engagements based on our shared vision for the Indo-Pacific region.

PM said that my visit to America is an opportunity to strengthen the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership with America, strengthen ties with our strategic partners Japan and Australia, and advance our cooperation on important global issues. I am also looking forward to meeting US Vice President Kamala Harris to discuss global issues and India-US cooperation.
