60 children found Coronavirus positive in Karnataka Boarding School

Bangalore, 29/9: 60 children have been found corona infected in Sri Chaitanya Educational Institution located in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner J Manjunath said, “A student of Sri Chaitanya Shikshan Sansthan on Sunday evening complained of vomiting and diarrhoea. We swung into action immediately. There were 480 students, all were screened. In this 60 children have been found infected.’ Manjunath said- ‘This is a boarding school. The students were there for the last one month and when they came they did not show any symptoms. Out of 60 students found positive, only 2 have symptoms. Our team has done sampling of all.

 

 

Manjunath said that we will do sampling again on the 7th day. The school has been closed till October 20 (October). There is no cause for concern. Out of 60 students we found positive, 14 are from Tamil Nadu and rest are from different parts of the state.

 

On the other hand, if we talk about the whole of Karnataka, 629 new cases of infection have been reported in the state on Tuesday and 17 patients died. According to the bulletin of the Health Department of Karnataka, the total number of infected in the state has increased to 29,74,528 and the total number of dead to 37,763. After 782 more people have recovered from the infection, the total number of people who have been cured has gone up to 29,24,102. The number of patients under treatment is 12,634
