Chandigarh, 29/9:In the midst of the Congress in Punjab, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi called the cabinet. After the meeting, CM Channi said that he will resolve the issue by meeting with Navjot Singh Sidhu. The party has entrusted the responsibility of persuading Sidhu to Chief Minister Channi. On the other hand, according to the information received from the sources, the Congress high command is angry with Sidhu’s attitude and the top leadership of the party can also take a tough decision on this issue. Meanwhile, the Chandigarh tour of party’s Punjab in-charge Harish Rawat has been stopped and he will not go to Chandigarh amid the political turmoil.
According to information received from Congress sources, the party high command has not yet spoken to Sidhu and has not accepted his resignation. The party wants to give time to Sidhu. But if they are not ready, the party can also take a tough decision. Also, the party can take action against those ministers, who will not even reach the meeting called by Chief Minister Channi.
