Lakhimpur violence: Ashish Mishra reaches Crime Branch

UP, 9/10: Ashish Mishra, the accused son of Union Minister of State for Home and MP Ajay Mishra Teni in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case in Uttar Pradesh, finally reached the crime branch this morning to appear. Ashish’s father, the Union Minister, took him to the crime branch. Earlier, Ashish Mishra was ordered by the police to appear in the crime branch by 11 am on Saturday. In this regard, the officers related to the investigation of the Lakhimpur violence case have reached the police line. Security has been beefed up around the crime branch’s office. Police personnel have been deployed everywhere. In view of the appearance of Ashish Mishra, the police line has been converted into a cantonment. Barricades have been put up everywhere.

 

 

Earlier on Friday, Union Minister Ajay Mishra said that his son will appear today and record his statement in front of the investigating agency. According to sources, Minister Ajay Mishra can present the son by holding a press conference. Along with this, he said that Ashish could not appear before the police due to health reasons.
